Tablao Flamenco "Albayzín"

Our venue was known as La Reina Mora since 1971 until it was renamed on the 13th August of the year 2001 as Tablao Flamenco Albayzín. Its current name owes to the Arabic quarter where our venue is located - next to the Mirador de San Cristóbal, well known among the visitors of our city due to its wonderful sight of the city, the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada.

Our venue is decorated in a Mudéjar style that perfectly matches this Arabic quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Despite its appearance, which brings us back to the times of the Arabic Granada, our venue abides to the current regulations regarding shows in Andalusia - emergency exits, access to disabled people, fire protection components...

Up to 150 people can sit and enjoy a flamenco show in the boxes of our venue, which resembles to an amphitheatre and therefore allows for a more direct performance. Under the management of the current administrator, significant flamenco artists such as Antonio Campos, David Carmona, Emilio Maya, Adrián Sánchez, and the recently awarded in the Cante de las Minas Festival Fuensanta la Moneta and Patricia Guerrero. These figures have contributed to turn our tablao into the best-known flamenco-show venue in Granada.

The artistic director of our tablao, Sensi Amaya, belongs to a family of flamenco singers of great tradition and fame (Manuel and José Amaya, founders of the first gypsy zambras in Granada). Thanks to her management and the talent of twelve of the best flamenco artists in Granada, our visitors can enjoy a 1 hour and 20 minute performance every evening. We are now the last and only tablao in Granada that offers flamenco shows of outstanding quality every evening.
